This track is a little bit more complex then previous, because assumes necessity of movement on moraine slopes, and also on a glacier, presence of a certain experience and the good physical form therefore is desirable. But thus the track gives you an opportunity will better familiarize with area, to see mysterious Merzbaher Lake, and also majestic Khan-Tengri and Pobeda Peaks. The track passes at height 2500-4200m. Program: Bishkek - Ala-Archa - Karakol - Echkilitash valley - Tuz valley - Inylchek valley - Chon-Tash - Inilchek Glacier - Mercbaher Lake - Komsomolec Glacier - Bishkek.
1. Bishkek.
Arrival in Bishkek, meeting, transfer to hotel, rest, city-tour.
2. Ala-Archa.
Transfer to the Natural Park “Ala-Archa”, hiking to the waterfall, return to Bishkek, accommodations in hotel.
3. Karakol.
Transfer to Karakol (400km), en the rout visiting Burana Tower and petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata, accommodation in guest house.
4. Echkilitash valley.
Sightseeing: Orthodox Church, Dungan mosque, visiting Przhevalski memorial, after lunch transfer to the trek start point Echkilitash valley, camping.
5. Tuz valley.
Crossing Sary-Djaz river over a bridge, trek up along Tuz valley camping.
6. Foothill of Tuz Pass.
Trek up along Tuz valley to foothill of Tuz Pass, camping.
7. Inylchek valley, Chon-Tash.
Trek over Tuz Pass (4001 m), to Inylchek valley, camping near Chon-Tash.
8. Inylchek Glacier.
Trek up along Inylchek Glacier, camping on a moraine.
9. “Zelenaia Poliana”.
Trek up along Inylchek Glacier to “Zelenaia Poliana”, camping.
10. Merzbaher Lake.
Radial trek to Merzbaher Lake, back in camp.
11. Komsomolez Glacier.
Trek up along Inylchek Glacier to Komsomolez Glacier, camping.
12. Inylchek Glacier.
Trek up along Inylchek Glacier, camping on glacier.
13. Base Camp “Zvezdochka”.
Trek up along Inylchek Glacier to base camp "Zvezdochka" camping.
14. Rest day.
Additional day in base camp on a case of bad weather.
15. Khan-Tengri Peak.
Radial trek up to foothill of Khan-Tengri Peak (7010 m), back in camp.
16. Issyk-Kul Lake.
Return by helicopter to base camp "Maidaadyr", transfer to hotel at the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
17. Issyk-Kul Lake.
Full day rest, swimming.
18. Bishkek.
Transfer to Bishkek, accommodation in hotel, farewell dinner.
19. Airport.
Transfer to the airport, departure. |
